2009 GLICC Tournament No. 20
BULSTRA DOMINATES BIG-BOARD TOURNEY
Jan Bulstra, Cornelius, North Carolina, won the 20th Tournament of the Great Lakes International Checkers Conference, held March thru June 2009 on ItsYourTurn.com. This was Bulstra's first time playing in the GLICC, and, well, he is originally from The Netherlands, is a reputable player known as ~orijin~ on online sites, and pretty well dominated the rest of us. Former co-champ Jesse Furry, Delaware, was second, and long-time competitors Neil Wenberg and Roberto Ernest showed improved strength to finish third and fourth.
Tournament no. 21 will begin July 14. Interested players should contact Roger Blaine, Director. (Note: the following chart lines up correctly if it is in Courier New font.)
